The Hecho valley is one of the best birding areas in the Pyrenees and is a Special Bird Protection Area (ZEPA)with several bird observation hides.

MUSHROOM SEASON
A huge variety of wild mushrooms grow in the damp and shade of the forest, in the fields and in the high pastures. Don´t forget to obtain a picking permit in the town hall or from your accommodation.

NATURAL SWIMMING POOLS – swimming in the rivers.
The river Aragón-Subordán and it´s tributary streams have natural swimming holes, and cool clear waterfalls to swim in and and splash in. You´ll really enjoy the summer. Tip: Ask the villagers where to go.
